Every Tee finds golf tee times and tells you when one opens up. This page says exactly what it collects and what happens to it.
Your mobile number and SMS consent
No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.
We do not sell, rent or trade your phone number to anyone, ever. Your number is used for one thing: sending you the tee time alerts you asked for. It is never shown to other people, including the friend who invited you, who sees only your first name.
You only receive texts if you entered your own number on our website and confirmed a 6-digit code we sent to it. Nobody can sign you up on your behalf. Reply STOP to any message to stop permanently, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. See our Terms and Conditions for the full program terms.
What we collect
Location. Used to show how far each course is and how long it takes to drive there. It is read on your device and sent to our server only as a search area. You can pick a place by hand instead and never grant location access at all.
A device identifier. A random value that ties your alerts to your device. It is not your Apple ID, your advertising ID, or anything that identifies you personally.
A push token, if you turn on alerts, so Apple can deliver them.
Your name and mobile number, only if you join a shared watch, as described above. We also keep a record of your consent: the time, your IP address, and the exact wording you agreed to. We keep it because we may have to show why we were permitted to text you.
What you search for, such as courses, dates and group sizes, so we can answer the search.
What we never do
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers or lead generators. There is no analytics or tracking SDK in the app. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not read your contacts or your photos.
Service providers
We use a small number of companies to run the service. They process data only on our instructions, only to make Every Tee work, and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes or to pass it on.
- Supabase hosts our database and server functions.
- Amazon Web Services serves this website.
- Twilio delivers text messages. Your number is passed to Twilio only so a message can reach your phone.
- Apple delivers push notifications.
Your mobile number is never given to any company other than the messaging provider that delivers your messages, and never for marketing.
Where tee times come from
Tee times and prices are published by the booking systems golf courses use, including GolfNow, Chronogolf and Tee It Up. Course details and photos come from Google Places, weather from Apple Weather in the app and the US National Weather Service on this website, and drive times from Apple Maps. We read information from these sources. We do not send them anything about you.
When you tap a tee time you are taken to that provider's own site, and their privacy policy applies from that point.
Keeping and deleting
Alerts are deleted once the tee time they are about has passed. Watches delete themselves when their last time window closes. If you want everything associated with you removed, email us and we will delete it.
Children
Every Tee is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
