Every Tee finds golf tee times and tells you when one opens up. This page says exactly what it collects and why.
What we collect
Location. Used to show how far each course is and how long it takes to drive there. It is read on your device and sent to our server only as a search area. You can pick a place manually instead and never grant location access at all.
A device identifier. A random value that ties your alerts to your device. It is not your Apple ID, your advertising ID, or anything that identifies you personally.
A push token, if you turn on alerts, so Apple can deliver them.
Your name and mobile number, only if you join a shared watch. Someone can send you a link, but we never message a number until its owner has entered it themselves and confirmed a code we send. We keep a record of that confirmation, including the time and the wording you agreed to, because we may have to show why we were allowed to text you.
What you search for: courses, dates and group sizes, so we can answer the search.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. There is no analytics or tracking SDK in the app. We don't build a profile of you, and we don't read your contacts or your photos.
Your phone number is never shown to other people. Someone you share a watch with sees your first name, and nothing else.
Who else sees it
Tee times and prices come from the booking systems courses use: GolfNow, Chronogolf, TeeItUp and others. When you tap a tee time you go to that provider's own site, and their privacy policy applies from there. Course details and photos come from Google Places, weather from Apple Weather in the app and the US National Weather Service on this website, and drive times from Apple Maps.
Our servers run on Supabase, and this page is served from Amazon Web Services. Text messages, where you have asked for them, are sent through Twilio.
Text messages
You only receive texts from us if you entered your own number and confirmed a code. Reply STOP to any message to stop all texts permanently, or HELP for help. Every message also carries a link that turns alerts off in one tap. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies with how often tee times open up.
Keeping and deleting
Alerts are deleted when the tee time they are about has passed. Watches delete themselves once their last time window closes. If you want everything associated with you removed, email us and we will delete it.
